Day at the Park

Today was perfect park weather. It was sunny, in the low 80's with NO humidity. So Mrs. Megan and I literally stuffed 3 car seats and 3 kids in the back seat of my car like sardines in a can and headed to Shady Spring Park. It's been awhile since Jase has last been there and I was amazed at all the new things he wanted to do. Last time we were there, all he wanted to do was run around like a banshee through all the play ground. Today, though, he actually played with the apparatuses on the playground.
Along with all the rambling he does on a daily basis, he has been talking about wanting to climb a mountain (they must have done that on one of his cartoons). So, he was very excited to tackle the mountain at the park.
And he went...

WAY!!!!

YAY!!! Great job my little man!

He was feeling very macho after accomplishing such a great feat so he picked Jozi up in his car for a date.

All three kids just loved the circle/tire swing. Us mommies like it too...we could push all 3 kids at one time!

And you know my little music man couldn't resist playing with all the drums and bells.

And after several hours of playing hard, I think he finally tuckered out...

Pool Time

After several high 80 degree, sunny days, Mrs. Megan and I planned today's play date in the kiddie pool. I was leery as to how Jase would do; not that he is afraid of the water, but more he is very picky about playing in only warm water. After arriving at the Rodger's house and seeing that the pool was filled with water straight from the hose, I had little hope of Jase actually playing in the water. Boy! Was I surprised when Jase jumped right in! He didn't even give me a chance to take his glasses off and he was diving in.

Jase loved playing with the "surf board" that came with the pool. He would get on his belly and swim around, sit on it and push himself around, a stand on and go surfing.

The two kids really had a blast! And us mommies enjoyed catching some rays while the kids without having to chase after the kids, push them on swings, or help them climb up and down the play grounds.

Mini-Rob

Rob went around the house tonight gathering anything he could find of Rob's and put it ALL on.

By the time he was finished he had on 3 hats, 1 pair of New Balances, and 1 name tag.

Hannah's Royal Gala

Jase and Hannah, my parent's neighbors, have become great little friends. So, Jase attended her Royal Gala celebrating her 3rd birthday (hence the prince crown in the previous blog). She got a really cool water/sand pirate ship that all the kids loved even though it had no sand or water in it. LOL

And as Jase tends to do lately, he analyzed the party and said the cake was his favorite part. He was in awe over the castle cake. But then specified that "EATING" the cake was his favorite part.

Cute Cousins

Makenzie was in town again and these two were like peas and carrots! They love each other so much. They both begged me all day for Jase to spend the night. Who can say 'No' to such precious little faces?!?! So Paw-Paw Jack (Pe-Pop) and Grandma Betty (Me-Mom) where very happy grandparents with all their Grandbabies!
