Trick-or-Treat

My little golfer, all dressed up and ready to go trick-or-treating!

Minnie (Jozi) and Jase

Jase and his scary cousins Joy and Jacob.

Trick-or-treating with Mommy.

He walked around the mile block and hit every house! He even went through he haunted house that half the kids in the neighborhood wouldn't go through. Halloween is definitely his holiday!
Happy Halloween!

Carving our Pumpkins

Tonight was pumpkin carving night!
Jase got tired of waiting for us and used chalk to draw faces on the pumpkins.
Didn't he do a great job?

The little artist painting his pumpkin.

Every year since Jase has been born I carve my pumpkin to match his costume.
The golfer.

The spectator!
LOL
Jase loved all the pumpkins and we all really enjoyed spending quality time together!

Upward Awards Ceremony

Upward put had an amazing awards ceremony for the kids. They had a magician, a slide show, the presentation of the awards, lunch and a time for fellowship.

The Lightning Bolts with their trophies.

Jase in the play house

These two were so excited to finally get to just play together with out getting yelled at to leave each other alone! LOL

Best Buddies!

Fall Harvest Festival

Jase's school had their Fall Harvest Festival today. During the first half of the party, they went to different rooms where different activities were taking place.
Jase's first activity was coloring. He didn't really color his cross, but drew little tiny pumpkins all over it. (You can see the one little blue.)

In the second room they got their pictures taken as scarecrows.

The third room was face painting, but Jase didn't want to get his done.

The third room was bean bag toss. (Or cornhole as Jase called it!) Check out his form!

As all the kids were finishing up their activities and lining up for the party, they were singing one of their songs. Here they were singing, "Put a mouth on the jolly, jolly pumpkin. Put a mouth on the jolly, jolly pumpkin. Put a mouth on the jolly, jolly pumpkin. I love pumpkins!"

Before they dug in, they said grace.

I think Jase was very happy to have Mommy and Daddy come see him at school.

Farmer's Market

Since the squirrels once again ate our pumpkins, we went to the Farmer's Market to pick out some more.

Someone very talented made some really cool pumpkins and Jase was checking them all out.

He wanted them all!

8th and Final Game

The last game of the season...
Tear, tear.
Just when Jase has really started getting into the games, the season is over.

It was a very cold and early morning so Coach Ellen had to generate some energy and zap Jase with it!

After the game, Jace and Jase got together for some pictures. It still amazes me how we've never met another "Jase/Jace" and here, on this soccer team of only 7 kids, there are two of them. And both very handsome boys!
We are so proud of our little soccer player. He was the youngest and littlest one on his team and he did very good with all the big kids. Can't wait for spring season to start!

Jase's 1st Field Trip

Jase and his classmates went on their very first field trip today to....
Bowles Farm! LOL
Yes! I know we were just there, but when they sent the field trip notice home it said they were going to the pumpkin patch so we didn't think it was going to Bowles Farm. But it was still a very exciting trip.
For one, Jase rode on a real school bus for the very first time!

Climbing up the steps of the bus.

Sitting in his seat.

Me and Jase riding down the road on the bus.

Two, he decided that he was brave enough to, not only go down the slide in the mini maze, but to assist all his classmates up the hay steps that took you to the top of the slide and to go through the hay tunnel.

Three, he had a picnic lunch with his little school friends.

Four, he got to go to the pumpkin field and pick out a pumpkin.

At first he wanted a BIG pumpkin. But he couldn't pick it up, so he hunted for a pumpkin that was more his size.

This one was still too big, but it was perfect for sitting on and rolling back and forth.

He found another one that he like, but was he able to pick it up?

YES!!! We found a keeper!

Then, he had to help Daddy pick out his pumpkin. Jase insisted that Daddy find a square pumpkin like the one in the TV Halloween special called "Spookly." We didn't find a square one, but this one was very close to being rectangular.

Me and Rob were both so happy to be able to go with Jase on his very first field trip. We really had a great time and it was very cute seeing him interact with his little friends.

Here's just one more cute picture of him playing in the corn box right before we headed back to the buses.

And the ride home on the bus was just as exciting for him and the ride there.
Getting off the bus back at the school.
