Moon Bounce

On Sunday we went to my parent's house, and ended up spending most of the day at their neighbor's playing in the moon bounce. Jase had a blast bouncing and playing with all the girls.

You try getting four kids to sit still on a moon bounce for a picture. I don't think its possible.

Cookie Monsters

Jase just loved all of the Cookie Monster gear George had when he came a spend those 2 weeks with us. So he was ecstatic when he was looking through a bag of hand-me-downs and found a Cookie Monster shirt of his very own. Aren't they just the cuties little monsters! Yeah, George, you're cute, too! HaHa!

A Stop on the Way Home

Monday came, which meant it was time to go home. We still weren't ready to leave, so we made one last stop on our way. Jase had so much fun riding the go-cart that we decided to hit up one more go-cart track. We went to one right outside Ocean City that had three different tracks he could ride.

They also had a really cool ball pit!

And I really think they should recruit one of the life gaurds from the beach for the ball pit, cause Jase kept drowning! Haha!

Our Last Night in OC

Our last night in Ocean City we decided to head to the board walk again to grab dinner and some nice tropical drinks (or in Jase's case, some nice fruity apple juice). All of the tables, except one, had umbrellas on them. Jase kept pointing at it saying they were getting wet cause they didn't have an umbrella to block the rain. He is so silly.

After we were done eating, we took some family pictures. He posed good with Rob, but he kept wanting to look at the water when Rob was taking pictures of me and him. And when he finally did look at the camera, Rob put his had in front of the flash and messed it up. Oh well, I still like it!

And my favorite one:

And we still weren't quite ready to admit our last night was over, so we went and played another game of putt-putt.

Jolly Rogers

Since we had to leave the beach early cause Jase was getting red and because he so sweetly kept asking, "Can we go to Jolly Beans" we took him to Jolly Rogers. I guess after conquering the Ferris wheel he was ready to ride just about everything. The first thing he rode was a Nascar Speedway ride with Rob. This thing looked like a gentle little kiddy ride, but it swung around the curves so fast Jase just about flew into Rob's lap!

Then me and Jase went for a ride on the Baja Jeeps that bounced up and down while spinning in circles. And again, he almost flew out of his seat. Thank goodness I was there to hold him him in his seat!

Next, he wanted to ride the kiddy roller coaster. It took them pretty high and had hills and curves and everything! He LOVED it!!!! In fact, he loved it so much, that afterwards, whenever we asked him what he wanted to do he would point to the big roller coaster and say "Ride that!" And we told him he was too little, he started jumping up saying, "No I'm not! See I'm a big boy!"

Then, we all rode the log flume together. And him and Rob went down the big slide. And both times he giggled the whole way down the huge hills!

After he rode all the actual rides that he wanted to (except for the big roller coaster, of course) we headed to the go-carts. We honestly didn't think Jase would be able to ride them, me and Rob just wanted to have some fun. But they had one track that he could ride along with.

He got all buckled in...

And off they went!!!!

They made it back in one piece and Jase offically said that Jolly Rogers was his most favorite thing at the beach!

Our Trip to the Beach- Day 3

You didn't expect Jase to go a whole weekend with out his monster trucks did you?!?!?! We made a track in the sand with jumps and everything!
We dug a hole and convinced him to stand in it, then buried him in the hole from the waist down. He thought it was hilarious!
The sun was really beaming and Jase was starting to look a little red, so we didn't spend as much time out on the beach (hence the lack of beach pictures).

Putt-Putt

Every time we walked past a putt-putt course Jase wanted to play. So on Saturday night, after our late dinner, we walked to the mini-golf course right behind our hotel. It was very crowded and we had to wait like 5-10 minutes between each hole. Jase was such an angle, though. He stood right by us dancing and singing, "Go Daddy, Go Daddy" and "Go Mommy, Go Mommy" as we each took our turns. Then he would place his ball right by the hole and hit his in. Even holding his club backwards with one hand, he did an awesome job. About half way through the course, the dancing slowed down and he would sit on the side of the green and cheer and us on.

There's a Party in my Tummy...

Dinner on Saturday night became quite the fiasco. We decided to drive down the strip and sit down for a nice dinner. Jase told us over and over again on the way that he wanted McDonalds. But we were sticking to our guns and headed down the road till we saw this Italian restaurant and decided to give it a whirl (Jase was still protesting for McDonalds at this point). We walk in and everyone is all dressed up and there is fancy table cloths and plate ware. So we checked out the menu before sitting down and the cheapest thing we saw was like 30 bucks! We quickly U-turned out of there! By now it was about 8:00 and we usually eat at 6:30. Jase finally lightened up on his protest for McDonalds at this point and was so hungry he was just asking for food! So we continue down the road and decided to just go to the next restaurant we saw. We parked the car and walked into some kind of family place. We checked it over as we walked in and noticed it was right up our ally. But when the host came up to the door to seat us, he told us they have closed their kitchen and they are only serving food off their cold menu. Rob is beyond mad at this point and Jase was telling us his belly hurts and wants food. So we took the car back to the hotel and decided to just walk and get anything. We ended up finding this all-you-can-eat buffet place that made everyone very happy. We all stuffed ourselves and Jase was so happy with his food, that he broke out in song. One of his favorite shows is Yo Gabba Gabba. It is a kids show with a lot of silly songs and dances. His favorite song from the show is "There's a Party in my Tummy"; an appropriate song to sing after stuffing our faces like we did!

In case you didn't quite get that, he was singing:

"There's a party in my tummy,

So yummy, so yummy!"

Fun on the Boardwalk

You can't go to the boardwalk on a hot, sunny day without getting some soft served ice cream.

After we finished eating our snack, we headed for the Ferris wheel! And what a HUGE Ferris wheel it was!

Jase has never been on any kind of ride before and was a little leery at first. But after the first time around, he was enjoying the view.

And what a view it was!!!

The day caught up to Jase and he passed out on our walk back to the hotel.

Our Trip to the Beach- Day 2

Saturday, we started the morning off with a nice healthy breakfast. Jase just thought this was the coolest. He got to sit a little table, eat his very own box of cereal, and watch TV for breakfast.
Then we headed off to the beach again for another "Oh, so sunny day!"

And of course, all Jase wanted to do was play in the sand.

He even did a little gardening on the beach.
He found some seaweed and planted it it his sand flower garden.

Then he did some cooking. He made sand meatballs and sand chocolate. While he was making the chocolate, he was sing the Dora "Mix it, Mix it choco-late!"

And him and Rob played in the sand digging holes and watching what happened when you dumped buckets of water on the sand.
The best part of the morning, though, was when he started rolling around in the sand!

Talk about being covered in sand!
