Handy Manny's Tools

Santa was so impressed with all the painting he saw Jase doing in preparation for Christmas, he gave him some porcelain figures of his favorite cartoon characters to paint as a Christmas gift. Today was the perfect day to work on one being we were stuck inside with the foot of snow that fell. He picked all the colors out exactly as they are colored on the show and worked so diligently. I know I've said it again and again...but he just blows me away with how well he paints!

I did help him with the black eyeballs, inside the tool box, and the sides of the base, but he did everything else all by himself. All the detailed work...all by himself!

It is Monster Jam Madness in our house 24-seven. You would think, since we took Jase outside, it would be a break from the Monster Trucks. You would think....

1st Ice Cream Cone

Today we made ice cream with our ice cream maker. I didn't realize until after Jase ate it, that he had never had an ice cream cone before. And after today, it will be a very, VERY long time before he has another one!!!!

It started off looking very perfect, if I do say so myself. (I am getting really good at making ice cream.)

But I think the only part of it that made it into his mouth was the chocolate chips!

Yeah, we went straight to the bath tub after this! LOL

Warmer Weather = Moon Bounce!

The thermometer has finally been showing some red and the sun has finally been shinning so we have finally been able to set up the moon bounce Jase got for Christmas. It has been a huge hit for everyone that has been over (Jozi, Alek, Jonathan, Joy, Sonny, Makenzie, and Emily). The kids are ruthless on this thing. They will jump...belly flop on the slide...roll off head first...jump back up...and do it all over again!

Tragedy struck when the blower turned off! LOL They actually thought that was just as cool as the moon bounce

Another Morning Surprise

Yup...I found him passed out on the chair again this morning. I got up to let Henny out around 6:30 and he was there sleeping. Me and Henny went back to bed and we all slept in till 9:00! I need to let him sleep out there more often if it means sleeping in till 9:00!

Jase got a late Christmas gift from the Mindel's today and it was a digital camera. He got it at 3 PM and by 8:30 PM had taken over 200 pictures! LOL
