Happy Birthday to Me!

Jase woke up the morning of his 3rd birthday party VERY excited. He kept singing Happy Birthday to himself. Here is one of his performances.

I have know clue where he learned the "Thank you, Thank you" thing from.

He is hilarious!

Ring-Around-the-Rosies

Jase and Jozi learned a kid's classic. Jozi's Aunt Savanah is doing it with them in the video but before I thought to get the camera the two of them were doing it by themselves giggling so hard whenever they fell.

Airplane

I was cleaning out the laundry room/pantry/utility closet/game closet (that's a muti-purpose room if I've ever seen one) and came across a Styrofoam airplane that Rob had bought at 5 Below. I got it out planning on throwing it a way. Jase got his hands on it before I had a chance to toss it. He was flying that thing all over the back yard. It didn't take long to break, but just made it better. It would go straight up and then nose dive straight down. He thought it was the greatest. Guess it was $5 well spend after all!

1st Baseball Game

Grandma Betty and Paw-paw Jack took Jase (and Mommy and Daddy) to his first baseball game. We went to the see our local minor league team, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Although he didn't catch a ball, he did get on the jumbo-tron while doing the chicken dance and got a special visit from Pinch, the mascot. He was a little scared of Pinch at first, but warmed up to him and gave him knuckles before it was all said and done with. The Blue Crabs lost the game, but Jase had a really good time watching all the excitement around him, eating popcorn, and watching an amazing fireworks show.

Hop-Scotch

As soon as I brought the side-walk chalk out Jase started saying that he wanted to play hop-scotch. Next thing I knew, he drew his own hop-scotch square all by himself. I couldn't believe it!!!

Jase's Theory of the Monkey and the Moon

When on our way home from our play date in Virginia, Jase started asking questions about the full moon in the sky. Here is how our conversation went:

Jase: How come the sun is in the sky but it is dark out?

Me: That's not the sun, that's the moon.

Jase: That's not the moon! The moon is like a banana!

Me: Sometimes the moon is like the sun. Sometimes it is like a banana. And sometimes there is no moon at all!

Jase: No moon!!! Does the monkey on the moon eat the banana moon?

The conversation ended here. I was laughing too hard to try to explain any further. LOL

Play Date with the Tuckers

Lucy and the kids were in town so we went to Virgina for a play date and dinner.

Jase and the girls played kitchen and house in Anna's room.

Two additions to the stair picture since last time:
Sara was home from the hospital this time
and
Rudd has joined the family
Finally Jase isn't the only boy!
The two boys had fun playing with each other at dinner.

The resturant we went to is called Vinny's. John works there waiited on us. Well, Jase saw the picture on the menues:

He kept telling me it was a picture of John! LOL
