Drinks on the Boardwalk

We were strolling along the boardwalk our first night there when we came across this cute little restaurant with outdoor seating right on the boardwalk. They were advertising 46 oz. margaritas so of course we had to stop. Jase enjoyed people watching while were were there and even got to have a special drink, too!

Our Trip to the Beach- Day 1

This summer we took a long weekend get-away to Ocean City, MD. Jase hadn't been to the beach since he was 10 mo. old so this was a very exciting trip for him. We got there right at our check-in time, unpacked the car, and headed straight for the beach! Jase immediately started digging in the sand. It was the biggest sand box he could ever imagine!

Rob and Jase worked diligently building a sand castle. They worked together filling the buckets up with sand. Rob made the towers, and Jase smoothed them out. Then, Jase figured out that it was much more fun to demolish the castle. He stomped on all the towers and then drowned the city in water.

Then we went to cool off in the water.

He wasn't to sure about it. But he wanted more water in his bucket and we told him he had to get it himself. The waves were a little rough and the water a little cold, though, and he didn't like it too much.

So, he just spend the rest of the day playing in the sand while I chased after him with the camera. Ha Ha!

Ladies Man

Jase has been quite the ladies man lately. Within a peroid of a week, he turned on the charm with 3 different girls.
Jase and Jozi
Thursday, Jozie came over and the two of them curled up in his bed and played nap.
Jase and Abigail
Saturday, Abigail came over for a little bit, and the two of them walked around the whole time hand-in-hand. Jase even took her under the tree so they could have a chocolate milk picnic.

Jase and Emily
Then, today, we were outside playing and a car pulled up infront of the house. Jase's friend Emily climbed out of the back sat, walked up to Jase with blushed checks, gave him a flower, and ran back to the car smiling. How freakin' adorable is that! What made it even cuter, was when Jase tried to put it in the groud so he could make a garden.

Little Swimmer

This year Jase has not been a fan of the pool. I took him to the pool at our cousin Karen's back in June and he screamed for the first 5 minutes, had fun about 15, then wanted out. At the campgrounds, he just screamed and clung to Rob. Since then, whenever we mention going swimming he says, "No thank you" or gets really upset. I theorized that it was the cold water that he didn't like cause he loves the bath tub and isn't afraid of the water what so ever. So, today, we forced him into the neighbor's pool. I carried him over there kicking and screaming, and with in seconds of getting in the water, he was having a blast. He was letting up throw him up and catch him right before he went under, he was jumping off the side (from a seated position), he let me dunk him a few times and he even did a little swimming!

Dancing Machine

At home, I wouldn't describe Jase as quite, but whenever we are out or around other people, he is very passive. Which is why we were shocked when he put on a dance show for everyone over my parent's house. We were supposed to be leaving, and Rob kind of stood him on the table to adjust things in his hands. I don't know whether it was Paw-paw Jack's instigation, the catchy toon, or if he just had ants in his pants, but he boogied for us for a good 30 minutes. And the more people that came out to watch him, the more he would shake!

The still shots are just as funny!

A do-see-do

Doing the bird dance.

And the bunny hop.

And a little tap!

What a ham!

Berry Picking

Jase spent the day with his two favorite girls picking black berries at Westmoreland BerryFarm.

Jase showed Jase how to pick the berries. "See Jozie, you pick the black ones like these. No red!"

And Anna, being the sweet heart she is, shared her black berries with everyone.

Sea-Sawing

Sunday, Jase was all about his see-saw. He wanted to swing on it all day. Whether by himself, or with one of us, he was a see-sawing for hours.
