At Sara's Candy Land Birthday

Jase's cousin, Sara, celebrated her 3rd birthday Candy Land style.
There were sweets everywhere to eat.

Jase was eating his cupcake and drinking his juice with a licorice straw.

And Candy Land squares to walk along.

Fireman Jase and His Rescue Dog Henny

Driving down the road today, I passed this firetruck outside of a thrift store. So, I immediately U-turned around and got it for a steal! It is supposed to be a toddler bed, but it makes a perfect lawn toy for a little boy. Jase wanted to help me wash it, insisting we use the car washing soap and bucket because it is, after all, his truck. And as he proceeded to scrub it down, both inside and out, he kept saying he was Fireman Jase and Henny was his rescue dog.

PIcking Leaves for Jozi

Jase knows he's not allowed to pick Mommy's flowers, so he picked Jozi and leaf instead. Is he not the sweetest!

Jase and His Daddy

There's nothing I enjoy more than watching these two play!

On your marks....

Get set....

GOOOOO!!!!

Jase took off leaving Rob behind, desperately diving to catch up and eating grass instead!

They decided to fight instead, and Jase still took him to his knees!

After taking daddy out twice he started walking with a little swagger!

LOL

Learning to Swim

We took Jase over to the neighbor's pool today and he is trying hard to learn how to swim. As long as you are close to him, he will paddle himself around with nothing but floaties on.

Boy Dress-Up

Poor Jase, always playing with little girls.
He gets so upset when they get to play dress up and he can't. Although I do have a number of pictures of him in my heels, jewelry and princess crowns, he won't put on the princess dress...thank God! Today, he asked me if I would play dress-up with him. I was very puzzled at first as to where his imagination was going to go with this. I asked him what we were going to dress up as. He says in his sad, pathetic voice, "Mommy I can only pretend dress-up because they don't have dress-up for boys." That's when the light bulb went off and I remembered his buddy gave him some Halloween costumes. So...we spent the afternoon playing "Boy Dress-Up!"
