It snowed once again; this time accumulating a foot of snow. It snowed heavy all day Saturday so we didn't get to go play in the white stuff till today. Luckily, Jozi got in the neighborhood just before we started bundling up so Jase had a friend to play with. When we first went out, I tried to get Jase to actually play IN the snow. He likes to just run around on the shoveled drive and walk way. So I dropped him down in the middle of the yard...
and he got stuck!
Once he got back on the driveway, he plopped down on his belly and starting sliding himself around on the ice.
Then, Rob had the bright idea to pull the kids around in the wagon. They had fun, but let me tell you, a sled would have been much easier. It was a work out and a half pulling that thing through all the snow!
Then...tragedy struck!
The driver was taking a curve a little too fast and the little Radio Flyer flipped over, throwing both of the kids from the vehicle.
Jozi walked away from the accident un-harmed. Jase, landed face first in the snow and ended up with snow stuffed up in between his face and his glasses. I know its mean...but it really was quite hilarious!
But the two wasted no time putting the wagon back on all fours and where soon back in the wagon going for another spin!
After awhile, Jozi started getting cold and went inside, and me and Jase decided to make some snow angles. He liked making the angles, but got a little crazy flaring his hands around and ended up throwing snow in his face.
After that, he was ready to go in for some hot cocoa, too.
