The snow has finally stopped falling and Jase has witnessed history! We had a record breaking snow storm here in the DC area: the most snow fall in one day and the most snow fall during the month of December. It was also the 5th biggest storm in this area of all time! We got 17 inches at the house! Jase had been fighting a cold, but we had to let him out for a little bit...I mean like I said...this was history in the making! The snow was literally up to his crotch which would have made walking in the snow nearly impossible and would have nearly buried him in the cold, wet stuff. So, Rob being the creative, wonderful dad that he is, dug a snow maze in the back yard. He dug out all kinds of paths that Jase could run through. He got to play in the snow, he could walk, and he didn't get all wet with the cold snow. He had a blast running through the maze with me, Rob, Alice and Henny.
And what must you always do after playing in the snow?...
Drink hot chocolate, of course!
We even had snowman marshmallows to but in ours. (Okay, they were really ghosts, but Jase believed that they were snowmen...shh...don't tell on me! LOL)
