Jase's Super Hero Birthday Party

Today was Jase's Super Hero Birthday Party. He had 15 little friends and lots of adults that love him join in the celebration. The kids were just running around the yard and playing with the outdoor toys when the party first started.

Then, everyone sat down for a little bite to eat. Hero sandwiches for our superheros!
Then, they each took a turn going through the Superhero Obstacle Course so they could get their Superhero cape.

First, they had to make it through the steps without getting tripped up.

Then, they had to weave and bob their way through the noodles.

Last, they had to crawl through the tunnel. And if Jase wasn't running through the obstacle course again and again, he was cheering his superhero friends on!
Then the kids pretended the fire truck was an ice cream truck, and jumped on board to help deliver ice cream.

It was so awesome watching all of them use their imagination. All the kids were running up to the "ice cream truck" and ordering imaginary ice cream.
All that talk about ice cream, got them wanting the real stuff! So, we sang Happy Birthday and ate some cake and ice cream.

Once again, my cake lady did an amazing job!
Jase was checking it out.
Waiting for us to sing
He got a little bashful when we were singing to him.
Yay, Jase!!!
Making the first cut.

Volunteering to eat any one's uneaten cake and ice cream.
Present Time!!!

As he headed over to the present table he immediately spotted the tractor Brian, Gloria, Aunt Lizzie and Grandma Alice got him.

He loved it so much he wouldn't even get off of it to open his presents, so he opened them while sitting on the tractor.

"I'll take ya for a ride on my big green tractor"
One of his favorite songs!
The last party activity was the pinata.

Jase was first to take a swing.

Then him and Rudd were smart as they got in Push-Up John's lap to watch the rest of the kids take their turns, far away from the swinging bat!

As the party began to wind down, some of the kids ended up inside.

"Five little monkeys jumping on the bed...."

Abby stayed most of the night playing with Jase and the two of them were getting into a little mischief. I caught it all on camera, though.

"What? I wasn't doing anything!"
And the little boogers were on a sugar high the rest of the night!
Jase had a blast at his party, and I think all his superhero friends did, too! Thank you everyone who came and made this day special for him!
