The Storm Begins

Finally, we are getting a good snow storm. We've had an inch or two maybe twice a year for the last few years, but not a really good snow. Well, that has all changed. The weather forecasters predicted that it would start at about 3pm. And at exactly 2:45 it started coming down-the biggest, most beautiful snow flakes I've ever seen! The snow was just so beautiful that we had to take Jase out. We just stayed on the deck, but it was still a good time.

Jase learned how to catch snowflakes.

Him and Rob built a little snowman with the snow from the picnic table.

(And this time it had a much better hat on! LOL)

And we even put him to work.

As of now (9:00pm) we have about 5 inches of perfect snow. And according the the weather forecasters, (who, for the first time, have been right on the money) the worst, or best, of this storm is yet to come. From midnight-5am we are supposed to get an inch an hour and it isn't supposed to completely stop until noon tomorrow. So, I'm pretty positive there will be a part 2 to this snow storm blog with more pictures of us playing in the snow tomorrow.
