Play Date with Jozi

Jase has become very good friends with my neighbor's grand-daughter. It had been a couple weeks since he'd last seen her and he was really missing her. Last weekend, when we were heading to Sara's birthday party, he kept asking, "Is my friend, Jozi, at the party?" Then, almost every night this week, when we were saying our prayers, he said his special prayer for Jozi saying, "I miss her." How cute is that! So last night, he said he wanted to see "my friend Jozi". (It is never just "Jozi" it is always "my friend Jozi".) I made the mistake of telling him I would call her mommy to see if they could come play and for the rest of the night and all day today he was running around saying he was gonna play with "my friend Jozi" when mommy got home. So, they got together today and played. They are just the cutest two little things. They still do a lot of the we are playing together, but we really aren't playing together, we are just playing side-by-side thing. But today, they took off into my neighbor's yard and really played together. They played house and kept taking turns going out side the house and knocking on the door letting each other in and making each other laugh by sticking their heads through the window. Then they played in the sand box shoveling sand on each other just laughing it up the whole time. He is already asking when he'll get to play with her again.
