Another summer...Another successful camping trip at Jellystone Park!

We got to the park early afternoon and set up camp. Jase and Anna worked to set up their play tent and played in it while we set up the rest of the camp.

One of Jase's favorite things at the camp grounds is the Pillow Bounce.

And just was a little fish in the pool this year.

Jase and Sonny played swimmer and alligator. Sonny was the alligator sneaking up to attack Jase.

Uncle Bubba wrested Jase in the water and tackled him under the mushroom.

After spending a few hours in the pool, he got brave and went in without his floaties.

So, this is what it feels like to be able to move your arms freely in the water.

And he just loved playing in the water that was shooting up from the ground.

Time to dry off and see what else there is to do.

Moving the beach volleyball court near our camp sites was the best thing the park could have done. The kids spent so much time on the courts playing in the sand and we adults could just hang out and still keep an eye on them. When I was trying to get pictures of the kids playing in the sand Jase wasn't smiling for me. So, Julie chased after him forcing him to giggle and allowing me to get some good shots.

When we hit the fishing pond on the paddle boats, Jase jumped ship and went from the paddle boat with me and Sonny in it, to the paddle boat with Rob and Makenzie in it. Then Makenzie and Jase helped each other off the dock.

And it is a family tradition on our way back from paddle boats to put the kids in the Yogi's picnic basket. This year we could only talk Jase and Makenzie into getting in.

Mid afternoon a little breeze as blowing, so Uncle Bubba and Jase tried flying the Monster Truck kite Uncle Bubba gave him.

And you know that camping with John means push-ups are a mandatory, hence his name "Push-up John." Here Noah and Jase are enjoying their messy treats.

And all the kids played together at the playground; including the big kid Rob.

Saturday night, all the kids got to stay up late for smores. This year, Jase roasted his very own marshmallows.

Sunday morning it was time to start packing up. While all the grown-ups were outside hard at work, these two (along with Anna and Noah) hid out in the cabin watching cartoons.

And the last day of camping always means mini-golf.

It was pretty easy for Jase to get a hole-in-one when all he would do was walk to the hole and drop his ball in.

Once again, camping with the family was one of the best weekends of the year! Can't wait to do it all again next summer!
