Christams Morning

Someone must have been a VERY good boy...

...because there is no mistaking that Santa made a trip here!

I woke up at 6 o'clock ready to go! Jase has been getting up so much with out us knowing it, that I couldn't fall back to sleep. We would have been devastated if he woke up and saw what Santa left without us there to see him that I was too paranoid to sleep. The little booger slept in till 8;15, though! Me, Rob and Alice where all up just waiting on him. When he first came out, I think he was a little in shock. This was the first year he understood all about Santa. He even had trouble going to sleep because he kept asking us where Santa was. But I don't think he expected THIS much! He looked at everything, then gathered up the Yo Gabba Gabba characters Santa left by his stocking and sat on the couch and took it all in.

Finally, he started digging in!

He was so cute. He kept insisting that Muno help him open his presents. So he would sit down with Muno, put his hand up against the present, and the both of them would open the package.

Here are some random pics of him opening his gifts.

He was in Monster Jam Heaven!

But he was only about 1/2 through opening his presents, and he started tuckering out on us. Santa wore him out! Either that, or he was getting tired of seeing all the great gifts, and not being able to play with them!

But once he finished opening them and we gave him the okay to start playing, there was no stopping him!

First, he tested out his remote control Mater.

Then it was time to suit up and try out his new kitchen wear.

And take all of the merry Christmas passengers on a jolly ride around the tracks.

But during all the excitement, we made sure we took a moment to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and put him in the manger Jase worked so hard making cozy throughout advent.
