Monster Jam

Jase has recently become obsessed with Monster Trucks. It started when he got hooked on the Big Foot cartoon. That got him playing with his Monster Truck Big Wheels. So we recorded a couple Monster Jam shows, thinking he was a little too young to enjoy them, but we did it anyways. From that day on it has been Monster Trucks in our house from the time he wakes up till the time he goes to bed. He knows all the truck's names and takes his Big Wheel versions of each truck and has it do the same tricks the ones on TV are doing. So, today, we took him to Monster Jam at the Verizon Center. We even got Pit Party Passes so he could see the trucks up close, meet the drivers and all kinds of cool stuff. He was so excited on the car ride there. He even took Monster trucks to play with for the ride.

When we got there he was in awe of all the trucks. They look big on TV...but up close they are HUGE!!!

The first truck we saw was Superman. The driver was there, too.

We also saw the Broker...

Viper...

And Screamin' Demon

When we went to see Thrasher, the driver was there and took a picture with us.

Jase's favorite, though, along with almost everyone there, was the Grave Digger. He kept wanting to go back to the truck and just stare at it. He got to see its driver, too.
After we checked out all the trucks, we went to see the dirt bikes that were going to be doing some free style and the quads that were gonna be racing. There was a chick that raced one of the quads. and Rob and Jase just happened to find her and do some flirting.
It was okay because she was awesome and kicked those guys butts!

After the pit party was over we headed up to our seats for the show. Jase put his head phones on and didn't take his eyes off the trucks.

So, I know he probably won't remember that we took him here 10 years from now, but for today...we are the best parents ever as far as he is concerned.
